In an exclusive interview on this Sunday, Britain officials said that they will send life-saving medical equipment to India, including ventilators and oxygen concentrators very soon as the country is going through a record numbers of daily Covid-19 infection and death cases.

London is about to ship over 600 pieces of equipment to New Delhi very soon to support its fight against the virus. This whole decision has come after they received a request from India and the Prime Minister Boris Johnson made an assurance that the UK would do “all it can” to help them. Adding on to the conversation, he said that “We stand side by side with India as a friend”

Foreign Office of Britain, which is responsible for funding the support, confirmed that the first shipment would leave the country on this Sunday, which will be expected to arrive at New Delhi in the early hours of Tuesday, with further shipments which will be followed later in the week.

There are nine airline container-loads of supplies so far which includes 495 oxygen concentrators, 120 non-invasive ventilators and 20 manual ventilators, that will be sent to the country as told by the ministry. Government of UK is working head-to-head with the Government of India to identify the situation further.
